Transportation Options
- Green Mountain Transit: Go to ridegmt.com for a bus schedule or download the Transit App to track your bus in real time. We have a bus stop located in the front of the building. It is free to ride with your student ID!
- Bird Bikeshare Bikes: Rentable bikes for Bird Bikeshare are available around the Burlington and Winooski area! Click here for more information.
- CarShare VT: Our nearest carshare parking spot is located at Chase Street, a short 5 minute walk up Colchester Avenue. Additional vehicles are located around the Winooski & Burlington area! Click here for more information.
- UVM CATS Shuttle: For those looking to access campus transportation directly, the UVM CATS Shuttle can be caught on Trinity Campus, just off of Colchester Avenue. For real-time tracking information for the shuttle, click here.
- Parking Pass: If you would like to bring your vehicle, we offer limited parking within the Winooski City Garage. Parking is available on a first-come, first-served basis to those with finalized leases. Our parking process typically begins in mid-April.
Roommate Information
If you are applying for a unit either alone or with friends and won’t be filling the unit (for example, two folks applying to live in a three bedroom, or an individual applying to live in a four bedroom) you will have the option to go through our roommate preference selection process in the Spring. We typically run this process from February to April. You will have the option to see other folks who take part in this optional process who have signed a lease for the same room type and lease term.
It is important to note that Redstone reserves all rights for final room and roommate placements, though we are able to honor most matches made in this process. Please be advised, there are times based on how people have renewed or come in with preferred roommates that we cannot offer this service to all applicants. In this instance, we will provide you with an earlier roommate introduction. Final room and roommate assignments are released in the first week of May.
